FUTURITUM is a blog run by Jørn Arnold Jensen, containing short stories and opinion pieces. Jensen writes from a Northern European perspective and with a strong belief in humanitarian and social democratic values.

His interests encompass cultural, technological and social phenomena of today – and tomorrow. His love for science fiction is channeled into editorial work for the Norwegian online SF magazine nyenova.no

FUTURITUM is named as a composition of the verbal tenses futuritum (future tense) and preteritum (past tense), representing the connection between the now and the future.

Jørn A. Jensen (1953) is a Norwegian communication advisor and writer, residing and working in his home town of Kristiansand. Jensen has written stories for various magazines and anthologies. He has also published two story collection: Gjenkomst (2018), and Hodestup og andre noveller (2025).
